(Anamosa, IA) — An eastern Iowa child is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle while sledding. The Iowa State Patrol says a child riding downhill on a sled just west of Anamosa Wednesday morning, slid onto a road in front of an SUV and was hit. The child was transported to a hospital with critical injuries. ISP is currently withholding the name of the child and driver. The accident remains under investigation.
