(Stuart) Adair and Guthrie Counties Emergency Management Director Bob Kempf says road crews are dealing with six to eight inches of snow in Adair and Guthrie Counties. He says the higher amounts are in the eastern portion of the region.
If you must drive, He says it will be a good idea to pack an emergency preparedness kit. He says to tell someone where you are going and call them when you arrive.
Bob Kempf asks the public to exercise patience and stay informed.
Kempf says things are no different in other parts of the Midwest, particularly in Missouri and Nebraska, where Interstate 80 remains closed in the Kearney – Lexington area.
