Iowa Students Call For Gun Safety Legislation In Letter To Governor

(Des Moines, IA)  —  Hundreds of Iowa high school students are calling on Governor Kim Reynolds to pass stricter gun laws.  Eighteen-year-old Trey Jackson with March for Our Lives helped organize a statewide walkout yesterday.

Students across the state participated in yesterday’s walkout, including from Des Moines, Iowa City, and the Quad Cities.  This follows last week’s school shooting in Perry.
