(Indianapolis, Indiana) Precision Agriculture dealerships across the U.S. met for the Precision Farming Dealer Summit in Indianapolis, including large and small farm equipment dealership groups with precision departments, independent precision operations, and co-ops.
Many of these dealers were nominated by their farm customers, precision equipment suppliers, and employees for the Precision Farming Dealer Most Valuable Dealer Award. Launched in 2013, Precision Farming Dealer’s Most Valuable Dealership program annually recognizes the premier dealership and staff selling, servicing, and supporting precision farming technology.
Evaluated criteria included precision farming sales growth and diversity and how each dealer generates revenue from hardware, software, and precision service. Employee training, performance standards, innovation, sustainability, and community involvement were also considered.
The 2024 recipient of Precision Farming Dealer’s 12th annual Most Valuable Dealership award is HTS Ag, founded in 1995 with 4 locations across Iowa.
Regarding providing technology for farmers in Iowa and surrounding states, Adam Gittins, President at HTS AG, says, “We try to think from a farmer’s perspective. How does the technology impact what’s going on in the field? It changes the conversation immensely when we show them data from side-by-side trials. We’re no longer trying to sell them a gadget. We’re selling a significant benefit; they can see real dollars and how it impacts them.”
The award comes at an excellent time for HTS Ag, focusing on the 2024 crop season to provide growers with solutions to save on input costs and the ability to manage and store their grain safely.
