Sandra “Sandy” A. Peggs, 82, of Atlantic, Iowa, died Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Heritage House in Atlantic.
Sandy is survived by her brother, Fred Peggs and his wife, Darlene and Marsha Borders.
A time to greet the family will begin at 9:30 a.m., May 25, 2024, at the United Church of Christ in Atlantic followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial service at 10:30 a.m. During the service a special tribute will be given by the Mercy Nursing Honor Guard. Following a luncheon in the church fellowship hall, burial with military honors by the Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard and the Atlantic Color Guard, will take place at Brighton Township Cemetery, near Marne.
The service will be livestreamed on the United Church of Christ of Atlantic, IA Facebook page and will also be recorded and available on the funeral home website by noon on Sunday.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation to the United Church of Christ.
