(NAFB) The million-dollar question in the Plains is when the region will see moisture and what the forecasted storms will bring over the next few weeks. Producers are wondering how intense the future storms will be. Eric Snodgrass, Principal Atmospheric Scientist for Nutrien Ag Solutions, explains what to expect.
El Nino has peaked, reaching its plateau, and is partly behind the change in weather. However, Snodgrass says there are more factors at play.
Snodgrass adds the moisture is needed.
The systems over the next few months will help, but he says recovering the moisture loss will take multiple seasons.
