(Atlantic) Atlantic School Superintendent Beth Johnsen sent a letter to parents concerning the shooting incident at Perry High School. In response, the Atlantic School District has taken precautions by requesting intermittent police presence from the Atlantic Police Department at their school facilities to reinforce safety.
Johnsen says our thoughts and prayers are with the Perry Community during this challenging time. Dr. Johnsen added, “If your child shows signs of emotional distress, please encourage them to reach out to our counseling offices.”
