(Atlantic) Expect new things from Atlantic Parks and Recreation during the 2024 Year.
Parks and Rec Coordinator Jeff Christensen told KSOM they are looking to host an “Atlantic’s Got Talent” this summer. This event would partner with Your Forte and the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce. Parks and Rec will also install a new playground into Harl-Holt Park, which is located on the corner of 16th and Olive Street.
Other future additions include updating the concrete at sunnyside pool, adding wood chips to the Schildberg Play Area, and planting trees across the city.
