(Adair Co) The Adair County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday denied a couple of funding requests.
The first funding request was from the Stuart Meal Site.
Adair County Auditor Mandy Berg explained the funding request for the FFA Safety Initiative.
Again, both funding requests were denied.
In other action, the Board approved a new hire in the Treasurer’s Office, Susan Stevens. She will start January 2nd with a pay rate at 65-percent of the Treasurer’s wage.
The Supervisors also received the FY25 Compensation Board recommendation of a 5.5% salary increase for all elected officials. No action was taken on the recommendation.
