(Des Moines) Iowa’s first snowfall of the season exceeds four inches in parts of the state. The Des Moines International Airport says two and a half inches fell in the state’s capitol city. Four and one-tenth of an inch of snow was reported in Cedar Rapids and the Davenport Municipal Airport says three and three-tenths of an inch fell in the Quad Cities. More than four inches of snow also fell in south central Iowa near Osceola.
