(Ames, IA) — Ames-based Summit Carbon Solutions is adding to its pipeline plan in North Dakota. The latest plan shows it would run nearly 13 additional miles in the state, totaling 333 miles there. This comes after their permit was previously denied. Summit is seeking to build a controversial two-thousand-mile pipeline system in five states to transport captured carbon dioxide from ethanol plants to North Dakota for underground sequestration.
