(Ames, IA) – The Cyclones finished off the exhibition matchup on Wednesday night with a 20-point victory as they won 88-68. Iowa State earned the win even without returners Emily Ryan and Nyamer Diew as Kelsey Joens, Abby Brown, Audi Crooks, and Jalynn Bristow all played successfully from the second quarter and on.
Kelsey Joens scored 20 points in the exhibition while shooting 75% from the field and had three rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Abby Brown helped add on with 16 points and had eight rebounds, a block, and a steal. Audi Crooks entered the game overall with a dominant performance with 14 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Jalynn Bristow also had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Iowa State returns to action this upcoming Monday, November 6th at 11 a.m. as they begin their first regular season matchup against Butler.
