(Des Moines) The Iowa Mobile ID application is now available. It was officially launched to the public on Monday after its soft launch in the summer. The app is now approved at 17 places in Iowa, such as the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids airports, about a dozen central Iowa Vapors shops, and a couple of Dodge Family Farms spots. Des Moines International Airport’s Executive Director Kevin Foley advises to bring a physical ID when flying. Businesses wanting to accept Mobile IDs must talk with the Iowa DOT.
