(Cass Co) Diane Schultz, former President of the Iowa Mormon Trails Association, spoke to the Cass County Board of Supervisors this morning regarding the replacement of Mormon Trail signs in the County.
Schultz said the Iowa Mormon Trails Association and the National Park Service started about five years ago changing out the Mormon Trail road signs across the state. She said Cass County is scheduled for 2025.
Schultz was mainly giving notice to the Board that this is coming so they can put it into their budget. The Supervisors didn’t take any official action, but Supervisor Steve Green stated that he didn’t think it was an insurmountable job for the roads department to take care of.
