(Des Moines) A Des Moines man is dead after a three-car crash last Friday night. Local authorities reported to Hubbell Avenue for a three-vehicle crash, with one catching on fire. Witnesses tell police that the man in a Nissan Maxima was driving fast when it collided with an Acura, which hit another. The driver of the Maxima was thrown from the car, resulting in his death. There have been a dozen traffic deaths in the city this year.
