(Mitchell County) A northern Iowa man will be in prison for 50 years for killing a woman.
Nathan Gilmore was sentenced yesterday for the murder of 29-year-old Angela Bradbury. He killed Bradbury two years ago. Gilmore pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
The woman from Nora Springs disappeared in April of 2021. Months later, her skull was found mounted on a stick in the Cedar River Greenbelt Trail, south of Mitchellville.
He must serve 35 years before being eligible for parole. Gilmore will also have to pay 150 thousand dollars in damages.
