Fiery Semi Crash Kills One, Closes I-80

(De Soto) One person is dead following a fiery crash involving a semi-truck on I-80 in Dallas County near De Soto.

According to reports, the accident happened in a construction zone overnight around 1:45 a.m.  Eastbound interstate lanes near De Soto were shut down for a few hours before dawn Monday but are back to normal now.

Iowa State Patrol troopers have yet to release additional details.
