(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Sunday at approximately 6:53 p.m. at E 6th Street and S 2nd Avenue in Villisca.
According to the press release, a 2012 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Riley Graham of Stanton, traveling west on east 6th Street, entered the intersection and was struck by a northbound 2008 Ford Edge driven by a 16-year-old juvenile who failed to yield the right-of-way and struck the pickup.
The crash caused about $4,000 in damage to both vehicles.
Authorities cited the juvenile for having no insurance and a warning for failing to yield the right-of-way.
