(Audubon) The Audubon County Board of Supervisors discussed the wind turbine project near Brayton this past week.
Supervisor Chairman Doug Sorensen says each board member fielded complaints about the project.
Sorensen received several requests to increase the setback between the turbine and the dwelling. The supervisors are consulting with the County Attorney about changing the setbacks.
The signup has started; construction will begin in 2027-2028.
