(Griswold) A fireman was injured by debris in a partial building collapse in Griswold.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle responding to a house fire with a person trapped inside had an open side storage panel door that the driver did not see. This caused the door to break free and caused a collapse of the east portion of the building on the furthest east bay. Another responding fireman was knocked to the ground under the debris. The debris also appeared to strike the bumper of a vehicle parked next to the building.
The injured fireman was taken to Cass County Memorial Hospital.
