(Des Moines) The National Weather Service says a high fire danger is expected again this afternoon, with highs in the lower 90’s and wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour. There is a chance of strong thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening as a cold front moves into the region. Frost could develop in many areas in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa Friday night into Saturday morning.
