(Area) Bow Hunting Season opens today.
Bryan Hayes, with the DNR Office in Lewis, said most bow hunters take this time to look over their stands and make sure everything is the way they want it to be when things cool down and the deer activity increases.
The early bow hunting season runs through December 1st.
