Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Fremont County

(Fremont Co) A pedestrian was struck and killed in Fremont County this (Friday) morning.

The Iowa State Patrol says 44-year-old Jeffery Hartley, of Glenwood, was driving a 2012 Kenworth Semi, leaving a parking/fueling area, when he struck and ran over a pedestrian who was walking west across 211th Avenue.

The pedestrian was identified as 65-year-old Debora Lee Turbett of Lexington, North Carolina.
