(Red Oak) The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will revisit the renewal of the County Farm lease at Tomorrow’s meeting.
Last week, the Supervisors opened sealed bids; however, two were identical. Five proposals were submitted: $271.00 per acre, 278.00, 303.00, and two requests for 310.00 per acre. The supervisors did not take any action on the lease, pending a recommendation from the County Attorney on how to move forward.
The supervisors will discuss the lease on Tuesday and take action as necessary.
The other items on the agenda include an Iowa Department of Transportation agreement for the detour/traffic sign at the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 48. Approve the claims payable and request to abate Stanton City-owned property taxes at 225 Center Street.
The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m.
