Beaverdale Books and Authors Plan to Celebrate Banned Books

(Undated)  —   Beaverdale Books and several other reading advocates will celebrate Banned Books Week in a festival.  The Beaverdale Books Banned Books Festival will promote these books, such as To Kill a Mockingbird.  Des Moines Public Library Director Sue Woody says promoting Banned Books Week is always tricky, but this year is different.  The festival is on October 7th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
