(Atlantic) The general sponsorships for the Atlantic Booster Club are up 1300 percent from last year. Booster Club President Brian Wagner and Coach Dan Vargason developed a program to reach out to community members, with a tremendous response from the community.
Wagner says the booster club kicked off the fundraising campaign for the 2023-2024 school year with six levels of support. Starting contributions are $140.00 for an annual pass to all activities and finish with $2,000 Diamond Supporter packages offering recognition on many programs, signs, and digital ads at school events.
The memberships and sponsors generously support the youth programs each year by purchasing equipment, uniforms, and oversized items like the equipment shed at the high school tennis courts. Additionally, funds are going toward a new video board in the High School gym.
Wagner says there are still some yard lines for sale for 100 dollars. If the ball ends on your yard line at the end of a quarter, the winner gets $100.00. If no one wins at the end of the first quarter, the money doubles until someone wins.
The Atlantic Booster Club is a group of volunteers, parents, and community members who get donations and collect funds from the concession stand and other activities the booster club can develop throughout the year that go to student activities.
