(Grimes) The ACGC boys scored 139 points and finished sixth, and the Atlantic boys scored 185 points and finished seventh at the Dallas Center-Grimes Invitational Cross Country Meet on Tuesday.
Dallas Center-Grimes won the team title with 34-points; Des Moines, Christian, 83, Carlisle 93, Indianola, 93, Winterset 106, ACGC 139, Atlantic, 185, Bondurant-Farrar, 222, Van Meter, 285, and East 303.
Andrew Mahaffey led the Chargers with a fourth-place finish; Gavin Sloss, 18; Noah Kading, 36; Lance Bunde, 37; Bo Arrasmith, 44; Preston Kent, 45; and Jarrett McLain, 51.
Alex Sonntag led the Trojans with a 26th place finish; Bennett Whetstone, 28; Devon Fields, 42; Tyrell Williams, 43; Braden Spurr, 46; Christian Thompson, 47; and Rickie Fields, 50.
Jack Every of Dallas Center-Grimes won the Individual title in 16:49.
