(Neola, IA) – The Trojans taking on the Vikings, a storybook matchup to say the least. Tri-Center has not taken on AHSTW in over six years as the last game ended up in a 43-0 Viking victory. Both teams have changed since that point, and have improved as Tri-Center went 4-5 last year and looks to change the element of the season this year. The Trojans are replacing their former quarterback from last season with Issac Wohlhuter. The senior played as a safety and looks to be taking the snaps for the Trojans against the Vikings.
Coach Schroder also is looking to put Carter Kunze in the running back position as he will be taking the reigns in the running game. The junior played in a defensive role in 2022 totaling 48 tackles.
Controlling the running game is the main goal under the lights for Tri-Center, something their young defense will have to step into this season after graduating seven players. Tri-Center has made some changes in the offseason to transition their team to be difference makers on the field starting on week one.
Tri-Center will travel to AHSTW in Acova to take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m.
