(Cass Co) A bridge project on Seattle Road north of Griswold should be starting in the next couple of weeks.
Cass County Engineer Trent Wolken updated the Board of Supervisors on the bridge projects this morning.
Wolken said the bridge projects west of Atlantic and near Anita are progressing. He said the east pier stem has been poured on bridge #319 on G30 west of Atlantic and they are starting on the west pier. Both pier caps on bridge #380 by Anita are formed and those will be poured soon.
In other news, the Supervisors approved revisions to the Cass County Safety Manual as recommended by the Safety Committee. The changes mainly consisted of formatting and punctuation changes. The Supervisors also approved a wage change for Auditor’s Clerk Hannah Richter from $18 to $19 per hour.
