(Des Moines, IA) — U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley says Iowa realtors tell him mortgage rates need to drop to shake open the real estate market in the state.
Grassley says there are signs that change is coming. The Federal Reserve is slowing its interest rate hikes, and Grassley says Congress is slowing its spending. Grassley met with members of the Iowa Association of Realtors as part of his 99 County Meetings across Iowa this past week.
