Central Iowa Sinkhole Update

(Marion County, IA)  —   There’s an update on a large central Iowa sinkhole.  Marion County says the bus-sized sinkhole that developed near Knoxville this spring, was caused by limestone mining.   The county has approved the mining company’s plans to fix it.  The work is expected to take several weeks.
