(Atlantic) The Atlantic City Council approved four grant agreements at Wednesday’s meeting.
The Council approved a payment of $8,500 to Produce in the Park in support of market space for locally grown produce. A payment of $30,000 was approved to the Atlantic Cemetery Association for dignified care at the community burial ground. The Council approved a payment of $20,000 to the Ann W. Wickman Child Development Center for the provision of safe, quality, childcare services. And, a payment of $7,500 was approved to Cass County Meals on Wheels, Inc. for the provision of nutritious meals to homebound residents.
Prior to the approval of each grant, the Council also approved resolutions to make dignified care at the community burial grounds, local agricultural markets, childcare services, and nutritional assistance to homebound residents all public purpose services which will allow for subsequent grant funding.
