(Creston) The Head Football Coach at Nodaway Valley is facing charges for allegedly sexually abusing a minor for years. Creston Police arrested 42-year-old Ryan Kissell yesterday in Creston. He has been investigated since July, when a minor notified the police.
According to court records, 20 counts of sexual abuse, 2nd degree, 25 counts of lascivious acts with a child, and one count of continual sexual abuse of a child.
Kissell, the former Creston Middle School Coach, was hired this season as the 7th Head Coach for the Nodaway Valley Football program since 2017.
Kissell is held in the Adams County Jail on no bond.
