(Atlantic, IA) – The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved the hire of Jason Mitchell as the Engineering Technician this morning, all members voted in approval of Mitchell. Board members also talked with Cass County Engineer, Trent Wolken, about bridge improvement projects that are planned and already started to improve the overall structure on a bridge west of Atlantic.
Wolken also talked about the maintenance projects that have been put forward for planning as they are going to get those plans together to start shortly.
The Board also brought up Iowa Western Community College in their meeting as they are discussing their last public meeting with the community. With the college looking for instructors and other help, the Board offered up ideas for instructors and help along the way for the college.
The Cass County Board of Supervisors will meet again on August 22nd at 9:00 am.
