(Creston) Creston Police report four arrests and three incident reports.
*On August 11, Creston Police arrested 30-year-old Zachery Allen Chumbley of Creston at his residence for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana 1st Offense, and Persons Ineligible to Carry Dangerous Weapons.
*On August 11, Creston Police arrested 76-year-old Hyvis Oerlyn Thatcher of Creston, at the Creston Union County Law Enforcement Center, on a Union County Warrant for Criminal Mischief, 5th – Degree. He was also charged with refusing to vacate, 1st offense. Authorities transported Thatcher to the Union County Jail and released him on a $300 bond.
*On August 12, Creston Police arrested 44-year-old Brady Gale Richert, of Creston, in the Alley of Pine and Walnut. Richert was charged with Consuming an Alcoholic Beverage in a Public Place 1st Offense and Disorderly Conduct (Loud, Raucous Noise). Richert was transported to the Union County Jail and held on a $600 bond.
*On August 12, Police arrested Rodrick Darnell Rand, of Creston, at his residence. Rand was charged on a Union County Warrant for Assault and Disorderly Conduct-fighting/violent behavior. Rand was transported to the Union County Jail and released on a $600 bond.
*On August 11, Gena McFarland, of 612 Grand, reported someone used her credit card on August 3 to purchase items from the Apple Store totaling $274.51.
*On August 11, David White, 306 N Oak, reported someone slashed two tires on his truck between 9-11 am. Loss is estimated at $400.
*On August 13, Tyler Ray, 1114 W Jefferson, reported sometime within the last two weeks, someone entered his unlocked vehicle and took $7 cash and a Leap Frog Tablet. The loss is estimated at $107.
