One Wounded In Shooting Near Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds

(Davenport, IA)  —  An investigation is underway following a shooting near the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport.  Police say one person was wounded with non-life threatening injuries after gunshots were fired Friday night near the intersection of Jebens Avenue and Locust Street.  There is no word on any arrests.  The Mississippi Valley Fair ended last night.
