(Cedar Falls, IA) – The University of Northern Iowa has announced its 2023 Hall of Fame class that will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on September 8th. Inductees include track athletes Paige Bohannon and Terrance Reid, wrestler Sean Stender, and quarterback Ryan Helming. Being recognized this year for the Academic Hall of Fame Award is Karen Harrell and being honored for the Dr. Jitu D. Kothari Meritorious Service Award is Julie Bright. The UNI women’s basketball team of 2010-11 is also being recognized for their historic season as they went 28-6.
This is a public event at UNI and you can purchase tickets on their website at unipanthers.com. The Ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm with a 6:30 pm dinner and the program will follow the dinner event. If you plan on attending the September 9th game at the UNI-Dome against Weber State, you can also see the inductees honored during the halftime event.
