Iowa City Woman Accused Of Helping Her Son Avoid Trial

(Iowa City, IA)  —   An Iowa City woman faces five years behind bars for helping her son leave the U.S. after he was charged with attempted murder. Lima Younes has been found guilty of helping 19-year-old Ali Younes escape.  He is charged with attacking a woman and stealing her 20-thousand-dollar earrings earlier this year on the University of Iowa Campus.  The sentencing date for Lima Younes is not set, yet.
