(Tipton, IA) — Dozens of dogs are recovering after being rescued from living in unhealthy conditions. The incident happened about a week ago when the dogs were taken from Just Dogs Rescue near Tipton. The shelter’s owner Linda Boots says she couldn’t keep up with the costs to have her facility meet state standards. Boots is sad to see the dogs taken away but knows it was the right decision.
