(Lincoln, NE) – Nebraska has a Preseason All-Big Ten Team member on their hands. Lexi Rodriguez was unanimously selected to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team and was only one of three to receive the unanimous selection.
Rodriguez is from Sterling, IL where she earned the 2019-20 Illinois Player of the Year award posting 415 digs, 232 assists, and 32 aces during her junior year of high school. She averaged 4.26 digs per set last season while posting a team second in serving aces with 25. She adds this to her many accolades including two-time AVCA All-American, All-Big Ten selection, 2021 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, and AVCA National Freshman of the Year in 2021.
