(Cedar Rapids, IA) – Former Iowa State Cyclone, Ashley Joens, receives another seven-day contract from the Las Vegas Aces to continue her tenure with the team. Joens is one of the most decorated players in Cyclone history, averaging over 26 points per game and totaling over 3,000 points while at Iowa State. She was also just named the Big XII Conference Player of the Year for the second time in her collegiate career. Joens has only played in three minutes of action so far this season with the Aces as they will be taking on her former team, the Dallas Wings, on Sunday at 5:00 pm.
