(Atlantic) Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Jeff Christensen told the Atlantic Parks and Recreation Board Monday evening that they continue to deal with vandalism.
Christensen said last Sunday somebody started a fire in the City Park men’s bathroom; this past Sunday someone plugged the toilet in the men’s bathroom at Schildberg Recreation Area so bad that they filled it up to the seat and they broke the toilet at the same time; a trash can at Cedar Park was spray painted; and the light on the waterless restroom at Schildberg Recreation Area was smashed…. that’s just to name a few vandalism incidents.
Christensen said they do have cameras at City Park and the Police Department is investigating.
