(Iowa City) Caitlin Clark adds another award to her shelf as she wins a 2023 ESPY Award Wednesday evening. Clark earned the ESPY Award for being the Best Women’s College Athlete in the 2022-23 season. She beat out many other individuals for the award including Jordy Bahl (Oklahoma), Trinity Thomas (Florida), and Izzy Scane (Northwestern).
Clark was also a nominee for another ESPY award for the Best Breakthrough Athlete. However, Angel Reese (LSU) captured the award over both Clark and former Iowa State quarterback and current NFL quarterback Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers).
