(Area) A long line of storms packing high winds rolled through southwest and central Iowa on Wednesday morning.
Cass County Emergency Management Director Mike Kennon says there is damage in Marne, Cumberland, Massena, and Atlantic.
Kennon says there are cases of trees falling on roofs. A wind-blown tree snapped and landed on the hood of a pickup on the southern edge of the Atlantic.
The high winds blew out windows and caused roof damage; Logan blew off a roof at Titan Hill, three miles east of Council Bluffs. Three-quarter inch hail was reported in Earlham, seventy miles per hour wind gust in Corning, 65 miles per hour north of Fontanelle, and 50 miles per hour wind gust east of Creston. A Farmstead north of Massena received extensive tree damage.
