(Shelby Co) The Shelby County Fair begins today with a Flag Raising Ceremony at the front gate at 8:00 a.m.
Today will consist of weighing in livestock and entering exhibits, but there are still several events to attend including the Willard Olson Swine Contest at 11:00 a.m., Best of Iowa Contest at 11:30 a.m. and Tractor Pulls at the Grandstand at 6:00 p.m.
The Shelby County Fair runs through Sunday.
