Megan Balmer is taking home two-million dollars after her Powerball ticket from this week came one number away from hitting the massive 725-million-dollar jackpot. Balmer told lottery officials she bought the ticket just minutes before the cut-off Monday night and couldn’t believe her luck when she checked her ticket hours later. She says she plans to use the millions to help pay off her mortgage and student loan debt, while also putting some in a college fund for her kids.
