Jim “Moon” R. Mullen, age 81, of Atlantic, IA, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at his residence in Atlantic, IA.
Open visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic, IA. A luncheon will be held following the funeral service in the community room of the Schmidt Family Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the Victoria Township Cemetery, south of Massena, IA, following the luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in honor of Jim, and they will be designated at a later date. Memorials may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.
