(Des Moines, IA) — Dry conditions are blamed for another slip in the condition of Iowa’s corn crop, which is rated 56 percent good to excellent. The Soybean crop has dropped to 48 percent good-to-excellent. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig [[ NAG ]] says a shift in the weather over the weekend brought beneficial rain across much of Iowa. He says there are better rain chances after several weeks of dry conditions.
