(Lewis) The Cass County Sheriff’s Office released more information Thursday morning about the motorcycle accident that seriously injured a Nebraska man.
The Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 10:20 p.m. on June 9 at Lewis Road and Oxford Road.
According to the report, a westbound 2022 Honda Sport Bike driven by 28-year-old Christian Contreras-Pinera, of Schuyler, Nebraska, was traveling on Oxford Road approaching the turn onto Lewis Road. Contreras-Pinera failed to negotiate the turn and lost control, causing the motorcycle to leave the road, striking a bumpy area in the adjacent grass and ditch. The motorcycle flipped end-over-end several times, ejecting Contreras-Pinera. He was flown to a regional hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
