(Carroll) One person died in a two-vehicle crash in Carroll County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Tuesday, at around 2:26 p.m., at Olympic Avenue and 230th Street north of Willey. Authorities say 62-year-old Randy Daniel died in the accident.
According to the report, Randy Daniel driving an eastbound 2022 John Deere Gator, failed to stop at the posted stop sign. The Gator pulled into the path of a northbound 2017 Chevy Express operated by 60-year-old Paul Heuton of Carroll. Heuton took evasive action and struck the passenger side door of the Gator. Both vehicles came to rest in the northeast ditch.
